He said that all the services will be starting in the early week of May, so maybe you are not able to create and host a meeting right away because they are gradually expanding their availability to more and more people this week. So till then, you can sign up to be notified when all the services are available. Soon, you will be able to start having a meeting on Google meet even if you are not a G Suite customer, a free user can create and host meetings up to 100 participants by using Meet’s Website, Android or iOS. People with G Suite can organize a meeting with 250 participants and some more features.
