According to a tweet on Microsoft’s founder, Bill Gates Twitter account, Microsoft is doubling all payments sent to him by BTC address for the next 30 minutes. The tweet also says that only going for 30 minutes! Enjoy!

Some prominent companies and celebrities have tweeted about plans to double the bitcoin data if sent to a provided address. Elon Musk has promised to do the same.

According to The Verge, the Winklevoss brothers, Cameron and Tyler, also had their accounts hacked. After this most of the tweets are deleted instantly, while others are retweeted for a number of times.

According to Social Proof and cybersecurity expert Rachel Tobac, “This is a massive attack. This is most likely the largest I’ve ever seen. We are extremely lucky that these attackers are monetarily motivated and not causing chaos all over the world.”
